What is Key Club?
Key Club is a worldwide organization that works for helping to aid the world in any way possible. It is a non-profit organization that serves to help local communities around the world through its dedicated members. Key Club is also associated with Kiwanis Club, which is another worldwide non-profit organzation.
Who can join Key Club?
Key Club is the high school level of a bigger organization called Kiwanis. Kiwanis, which is for adults, has five branches: K Kids for elementary kids, Aktion Club for the mentally or physically handicapped, Builder's Club for junior highs, Key Club for high schools, and Circle K for college students. In the Key Club branch, anyone entering or in high school may join.
What does Key Club do?
Key Club members help their school's community and the people living there by various community service and volunteering projects. Some examples include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mittens for Kittens, fundraisers for various organizations like Make A Wish, and the Special Olympics.
How can Key Club help me in the future?
By becoming a member of Key Club, you are given the opportunity to learn how to be a leader and how to help others in a productive way. You also get to meet tons of other people from your school and community and have fun while doing it!
